Procurement and planner officer.

Based at the Fleurus head office, you will join the Purchasing team, a fast-growing department. Working closely with the Manager of the department to which you report, and with all your colleagues, you will ultimately be responsible for all raw materials and components procurement.

• You will apply and optimize a procurement policy in line with the expectations and needs of customers and the company.
  • To Belgian in-house production, for which you will be the main contact.
  • Or to internal international production
  • Or to external suppliers
• As planner officer, you will monitor the capacities of the various production lines and draw up priority schedules on a daily and weekly basis.
• You maintain good relations with suppliers to guarantee the best service and prices, and choose the best supplier available, while respecting the margins and wishes of internal and external customers.
• Ensure that agreements reached (services, quality, prices, delivery times, etc.) are respected. If a supplier defaults, measures (both preventive and corrective) must be taken to avoid a recurrence.
• You participate in supplier evaluations.
• You manage and optimize component flows and inventories. To do so, you consider indicators that enable you to proactively take corrective measures.
• You work in close collaboration with the Internal Coordinators, Logistics and the Group’s various production sites to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
• You take part in negotiating contracts with service providers, suppliers and subcontractors in collaboration with the Purchasing Manager.
• As part of our policy of continuous improvement, you will contribute to the search for solutions and make proposals within your scope of expertise.
• You ensure regular reporting of activities and s actions taken to your manager.
• You act as back-up for colleagues in case of absence.

• You have a few years’ experience in a Procurement department and in planning management (logistics or production).
• You have a good knowledge of the Office suite and are comfortable using ERP.
• You have good communication and presentation skills.
• You have good negotiating, persuasion and teamwork skills.
• You are customer and solution oriented.
• You are also rigorous, structured, organized and proactive.
• You can remain competent and efficient in stressful or critical situations.
• You are discreet, confidential and ethical.

You are bilingual in French and English and are at ease with English-speaking management.
